Franklin County Public Health

Your Nurses live and work in your community. They believe individuals and families have the right to make informed decisions regarding their health care and independence, selecting the Agency of your choice. Anyone may make a Referral.

We proudly serve the following communities:

Ackley, Alden, Alexander, Aredale, Bradford, Chapin, Coulter, Dows, Dumont, Geneva, Hampton, Hansell, Iowa Falls, Latimer, and all rural areas in between.

Why is home health care important? Because it may be the best type of care for you. Advantages of home health care include:

  • Privacy - personal care in your own home
  • Convenience - no transportation problems, less disruption of schedules
  • Comfort - there's no place like home
  • Shorter Recovery Time - in general, people recover more quickly at home
  • Lower Cost - often much lower than care in a hospital or long-term facility
