| How Can Services be Obtained? |
A referral for services can be made by anyone. The recipient of services must live in Franklin County or the surrounding area. The service is provided on a flexible basis to meet individual family needs and situations. If HCA services are not appropriate, individuals are referred to other agencies or caretakers for alternative service. Office hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. After hours, holidays and weekends can be arranged if a family member or significant other accepts full responsibility and trained staff is available. |
The Agency is under the auspices of the Franklin County Board of Health and the Franklin County Board of Supervisors. It is a non-profit organization with reimbursements made from Franklin County Public Health, Hospice/ Star Care of North Iowa, Mercy Home Care, private insurance, Veterans Affairs, Iowa Department of Public Health, Elderbridge Agency on Aging, Community Support Services, waivers, client fees, donations, and local tax money. |
